Paul Green School of Rock

5:30pm - 6:30pm.

The Paul Green School of Rock Music is the original performance-based, interactive music school founded in 1998 in Philadelphia.

The Paul Green School of Rock proceeds from the belief that the best way to learn to do almost anything is by doing it.  This is particularly true about learning to play music.

The goals at the Paul Green School of Rock Music are:  to help their students realize their potential as artists, to put them on stage in front of as many people as possible and to help foster a new generation of incredible musicians.

Each year their students play over 500 concerts to more than 200,000 people, at such legendary venues as CBGB’s, The Trocadero, Cafe DuNord, The Knitting Factory, Cervantes Ballroom and BB Kings in Times Square.  They are always looking for grander stages to put their students on, and to date their students have played Lollapalooza and other festivals from California to Germany, opened for national acts coast to coast and performed live on television and radio countless times.

What results from all of this is the best education of the execution and performance of rock music that Paul Green could imagine.

Paul Lewis Band So, sit back and enjoy the experience know as “School of Rock’.

The Drive Home
www.drivehomethemusic.com
4:00pm - 5:00pm.

The Drive Home is a fun, fresh, clean, and positive group of guys with infectious melodies that will make you smile and hit the repeat button.  With a lineup boasting everything from a Broadway caliber singer and actor to an international professional soccer player to a classically trained cellist, The Drive Home has a little something for everyone.

What happens when you mix a pop-star with a rock-star and add little bit of contagious enthusiasm? You get a band that within their first 4 months of existence was able to garner attention from world renowned musicians such as Kyle Cook (Matchbox 20, Maroon 5), promoters like World Wide Entertainment (Yellowcard, Cold Play, Train), and was hand-picked for a high profile arena gig and radio commercial by Radio Disney.

The Drive Home didn’t break into the local music scene, they took it over. Through their hard work, professionalism, and endearing charisma, they cemented their status as a fan favorite. On the heels of their local success, the band obtained the 1 spot on MTVU’s Best Music on Campus charts.

The subsequent exposure combined with the dedication of their fan base lead to The Drive Home earning a place on the Epitaph, Drive-Thru, and Epic Records Top Unsigned Bands List. In addition, the band has also scored appearances on Fox’s Deco Drive and won the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, earning a chance to showcase their talent at the 2007 Vans Warped Tour.

Paul Lewis Band
www.paul-lewis.com
2:30pm - 3:30pm.

Paul Lewis enjoyed the kind of musical start most artists would have sold their souls for.

In the 90's, the Eastern shore of Maryland saw the beginnings of the artist about to fuse with the proverbial lightning strike. With fellow classmates, and the timing of alternative music's peak on mainstream radio, Paul and the band YNOT hit the beach and started a five-year reign in the clubs of Washington/Baltimore/Philadelphia markets. Paul and his band did what no other bands had done before and none have done since. Sellouts after sellouts. The wave was riding high and money and acclaim were coming in by the carload.

Professionally, Lewis has performed over 4,000 live shows and the experience has served him well. His live performance has all the ingredients of a true rock show volume, passion, drama, and charisma. A creative and captivating performer that pulls the audience in and doesn't let go. Lewis jokes, “Music first, then sanity.” Paul has immersed himself in touring for the new recording. The early response has been reminiscent of a familiar time in the 90's. Turn your head and listen. Chances are, you'll be hearing a Paul Lewis song, funking out somewhere in the distance & rocking your world.
